Steven A. Mack, P.E.
President, Principal Engineer

Mr. Mack is Foresight’s Principal Engineer in charge of engineering operations. Mr. Mack has overall responsibility for the activities of Foresight’s diverse and talented Engineering and Survey departments. Activities typically range from single family house site design to wide ranging commercial site work projects, municipal engineering and surveying.

Mr. Mack has been a member of Foresight Land Services since 1994. During this time, he has been involved in all phases of Foresight’s civil engineering, planning, and permitting projects. Mr. Mack, as Foresight Land Services representative, has been a part of the “design team” for numerous private and public developments working closely with architects, landscape architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, electrical engineers and contractors. Mr. Mack has developed a rapport with many of the local and state authorities and has publicly presented numerous projects for review and approval.

Over the past 20+ years he has worked on projects involving: roadway design, water and sewer system design, dam and pond design, bridge and stream crossing design, drainage system and mitigation design, site grading, slope retention, construction site layout and computations, construction administration, and project management. Mr. Mack has designed and managed several important and high profile municipal works projects for Massachusetts County Cities and Towns. He has a successful history of working closely with city and town officials to improve and replace aging infrastructure based on the growing demands of communities.

An abbreviated list of projects Mr. Mack has managed and/or been involved in include: Devonshire Estates (assisted living facilities), Canyon Ranch (Resort & Health Spa), Cranwell Resort & Golf Club, Kimball Farms (assisted living facility), Miss Hall’s School, Edith Wharton Restoration, Stockbridge Golf Course (Bridge Reconstruction Project), numerous single family homes, residential subdivisions, condominium projects, and numerous municipal road, bridge, dam, and infrastructure design and construction projects.

Prior to joining Foresight, Mr. Mack was employed by the Town of Lee Department of Public Works Engineering Department. While employed by the Town of Lee, he developed a town wide water distribution mapping system and database.
