Marc A. LeVasseur, EIT

Vice President and Project Engineer

Mr. LeVasseur has been a member of Foresight Land Services since 2001. During this time, he has been involved in many of Foresight’s civil engineering, planning, and permitting projects. Mr. LeVasseur has represented many projects at public meetings and has experience with local, state, and federal regulations. He has been a Lenox resident for much of his life, and studied Environmental Resources and Forest Engineering at the State University of New York at Syracuse.

Mr. LeVasseur’s responsibilities at Foresight Land Services involve the preparation of construction and bid documents with plans, technical specifications, and quantity and costs estimates, the design of subdivision roadways and utilities, water and sewer system design, hydraulic computations, hydrologic analysis, pond design, dam and bridge repairs and construction, site grading and drainage, construction administration and observation, soil evaluations, wetland permitting, and erosion and sedimentation control measures.

He has been a key member of the design team on many projects including Walker Street (Lenox) Reconstruction, Route 23 (Monterey) Reconstruction, Main Street (Great Barrington) Reconstruction and Streetscape Improvements, West Street (Lenox) Reconstruction, Tanglewood Sewer Extension, Berkshire Medical Center Expansion, Cranwell Resort & Golf Club, Westminster Road (Lenox) water main and road reconstruction, Lenox Gravity Water Main Replacement, Hotchkiss Road (New Marlborough) Bridge Reconstruction Project, Williams College site design and permitting for the Treadway House, Agard House, Doughty House, and Driscoll Hall, numerous single-family homes, residential subdivisions, and condominium projects.

He is proficient in the use of AutoCAD system for drafting, profile and crosses sections, estimating earthwork quantities, base map compilation and feasibility studies, and survey layout and computations. Mr. LeVasseur is involved with all of the project managers at Foresight as well as many clients, project consultants and team members, governing authorities, and works on a wide variety of projects from inception to completion.
